Each Manners Class is a five session course which meets for one hour for five consecutive weeks. Students are placed in their own age group and classes are taught at the appropriate age level of the student. Each class focuses on everyday situations that are encountered by young people. There is something new and fun presented each week in addition to interactive activities that make the students feel special while learning to believe in themselves. Students will gain poise and confidence and will be able to handle all social situations with ease. Some of the topics throughout the class include: introductions, conversations, telephone manners, going places/doing things, sportsmanship, friendship, parties, thank-you notes and table manners. Students will join the instructor for a dining tutorial at the conclusion of their five week course. Students may wear comfortable clothing, but are encouraged to dress up for the dining tutorial.
